Fried Pork Rinds: Health, History, and How-to
Whenever I think of fried pork rinds my mind immediately jumps to the scene of an old movie starring John Cusack, called The Sure Thing. In it he touts the amazing nutritional benefits of fried pork rinds, stating that they “contain 1% of the RDA, that’s recommended daily allowance, of riboflavin.”

If there’s one snack food that’s good for you, believe it or not, it’s fried pork rinds. And the fascinating thing about them is they have quite a history. It seems our ancestors long ago figured out the health benefits of pigging out on pork rinds.
But how did such an odd idea come about? Check out our video and find out. Not only is the history fun, but the health benefits will also astound you. Finally we’ll show you how to make your own batch of fried pork rinds.
